    I made a thread regarding banned member Mr. Halts Maul Stefan not long ago and it got shut down.

    It wasn't shut down simply because you made a thread though.  It was because everyone posting in it was basically blasting the guy and making fun of him.  Which, while entertaining, doesn't bode well with forum guidelines.
