    Maybe the current mods are different.  Back in the day if a thread was started regarding a banned member, it would get shut down fast.
    I made a thread regarding banned member Mr. Halts Maul Stefan not long ago and it got shut down.
    It wasn't shut down simply because you made a thread though.  It was because everyone posting in it was basically blasting the guy and making fun of him.  Which, while entertaining, doesn't bode well with forum guidelines.
    It was about that halts maul thread, was remembering the classic thread that it was. Not picking on the guy personally.

    Anything about that thread is almost instantly shut down. It's just how it is. Dude came on asking for help, went off the rails and went at everyone. I think since he isn't here to defend himself (if there was really a way to do that) then perhaps that is why. I was a part of that thread. That's PM material. Unfortunately, you get threads shut down that way.

    I saw this thread title and flashed back big time.  Haven't seen that username in a while.  I do believe he did just leave.  He may have been banned temporarily a few times but I'm only aware of one person that was banned for life (I believe).  I'm afraid of mentioning his user name(s) for fear of getting banned myself.

    i remember there was this big thread or threads about it. maybe a countdown or something?

    i was just like "when I leave, i am leaving quietly." and then i fuck off for 6 months or so and come back when i have some time.
