My favorite Fall beer.  If you like stouts and porters, Milwaukee Brewing Company does them extremely well.

This is a new brewery for me. Great Divide out of Denver. Very good stout.

Yup. Solid stout! They just released a limited Mexican Chocolate Yeti that I need to pick up.

Sounds delicious. A local brewery to me (Solemn Oath) is releasing their limited annual Mexican chocolate stout soon as well. It’s a good one. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for the Yeti lineup from now on...super good.

A buddy of mine brought me this from Calusa Brewing in Sarasota. Very good beer.

I keep going back to this stuff from Brewdog - Hazy Jane. Really digging it, goes down smooth!

As the weather gets colder(it effing snowed in Milwaukee on Halloween), I start going to stouts and porters.  I enjoyed Lakefront’s imperial the most out of this group.

Awesome man! Enjoy and please report back with your thoughts. I’m grabbing all of the variants when released, but I’m curious to hear how they taste. I’m really looking forward to the coffee, cherry and prop this year.

    Enjoy yourself!

I've gone every year to one for five straight years now and I love them.  I won the keg of BCBS last year and hope to win it again this year!

Looking forward to the cafe de olla.

Thanks!  I get to buy 2 bottles of Prop and 1 bottle of Cafe de Olla so I won't have to worry about tracking down either of those 2.  And it looks like they always pull out some old stuff from the cellar.  Very excited to try the Double Barrel variant....it sounds like that one won't be getting released anywhere at first and is going to be very hard to find.

In your area that may be ok to do, out here people tell you to GFY, lol.  We don't get anything for variants anymore.  Goose Island hates us.

Surprised to hear that.  They've expanded the barrel aging program so much since AB bought them out....pretty much the only good thing about the sale.  We're definitely lucky in Chicago with plenty of bourbon county all over the place.

The double barrel is going to be near impossible to find. I believe the only Binnys to get it will be Lincoln Park.  The prop intrigues me a lot this year with the ingredients being used. Enjoy the party on Sunday!
