It’s been my “Miller Lite” for a long time. Excellent go to.

even if I look and act really crazy.

Any recommendations for San Diego? I'm a huge hazy IPA guy.

Belching Beaver & Modern Times. Both have several hazys and are delicious. If you want to head to PB, go to Amplified Ale Works for their hazys as well.

Stone is north of SD.  Bruery is too. That is LA.

Ballast Point is right there though.

Thanks. I always thought Stone was out of SD. I've only seen and had a couple of Ballast Point standards.

Stone is Escondido.  Not that far north but it is out of SD.

Ballast Point is solid, but you won’t find a lot of hazy IPA’s. (Same with Stone) If you visit Ballast, go to the location in Little Italy. It’s their R&D location, so there are new/experimental beers on tap.

A great taproom is Bottle Craft. You’ll be able to try a lot of different SD beers in one location. Plus, it’s close to Belching Beaver & Modern Times.

Went in with two of my friends and ordered a complete set this year.  Rather than try to split them up, we’re just gonna get together a few times and do tastings, 3 or 4 bottles at a time. I’m probably gonna grab some singles when I go to pick up, too.

This is a new brewery for me. Great Divide out of Denver. Very good stout.
