This week, the U.S. House passed the SHIELD Act (H.R.4617), a bill I co-sponsored to require political campaigns to report efforts by foreign governments to interfere in our elections. This is the kind of the thing that should be commonsense, but we’ve learned over the last four years that President Trump will eagerly accept foreign interference unless we criminalize it.
The American people, not hostile foreign countries, should choose our elected officials. That’s why I co-sponsored this bill, and it’s why I’ll continue working to ensure we keep our elections safe from foreign interference.

2. It's not an illegal search and seizure if it's lawful. And the FISA warrant made it lawful. Plus, neither has anything to do with "running an election without spying". This answer would be highly insufficient for 8th grade poly sci.

On your first point, this is one where I feel there may actually be value in Trump refraining from sharing this (if this FISA warrant abuse is in fact true). If there was something that would even be perceived by Trump's base as a 'smoking gun', or at least a big enough whataboutism opportunity, I think Trump would park it for a rainy day, waiting for the optimal time to strike and discredit his opponents.
