Disagree.  The representatives should be in their districts in August, doing town halls and talking to people.  They should not be in Washington 100% of the time.  I know my rep did town halls and was around for the last few weeks.

Nope.  The more a person is in Washington, the less connected they are in their districts.  You create a communication and information bubble rather than truly representing the interests of the constituents back home.  You need to do both, be in your district and be in Washington.

They can spend two weeks in their districts. Maybe two weeks in July and two weeks in Jan. A full month to not pass legislation and let captain fuckhead and his band of fuckwads run wild and destroy what’s left of the institution is horrible. 

What happened to changing with the times. Glad no one was killed in mass shootings or no hurricanes or other natural disasters happened in August. It’s now a half day trip anywhere in this country. And we know they are not flying coach. When the most rotten president ever is in office you cancel your vacation and stay put. Not go away for over a month and then come back so backlogged that nothing will get done. Just because asshole orange face golfs 50% of his time doesn’t mean the rest should follow suit.

as far as i know, she wasn't censored. they just didn't allow that hashtag to trend because of the verbiage used.
