Joker starring Joaquin Phoenix

When one of those very rare times happen and I do go to a theater to see a movie. I am always blown away and laugh when people clap at the end. A premier with the actors and director in the audience. Yes. Appropriate. With no one there but the other slobs that are in there with you. Ridiculous.

Haven’t been to a movie theater in a long time. You guys sure painted a nice picture though. Pig troughs. Farts. Can’t wait to go back!0

I can't wait to see this. It's my most anticipated movie of the year. Phoenix is amazing.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
Just wait until the movie has been out a few weeks before going to the theater or go during the week. Problem solved. No different than when you went to the theater in high school (now we are just soft adults who complain about paying $11 to watch 30 hours a month of Netflix on the couch in our house).0

I have always loved going to the movies. I just get there so infrequently these days. I will definitely check this film out sooner or later. Joaquin Phoenix is damn good.0

This is why I only see movies at an Alamo Drafthouse. Sucks for those that don’t have one nearby. Hell, I sill have to drive an hour plus to my “local” one, but it’s worth it. Eating & drinking sounds don’t bother me, that’s just white noise I can block out. Talking though, I fucking HATE YOU if you talk in the theatre. Alamo doesn’t put up with it, they’ll kick your ass out.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250

This Time review rips Phoenix for overacting the role.

Seems a bit harsh. I've enjoyed the trailers so far.It's a hopeless situation...0 -
