    I know, but people are still running with it. 

    save your money might be smaller venues with higher prices? fan club only shows? who knows, maybe it's a freaking world tour. like, an actually WORLD tour.

    I can't remember the name of it but perhaps we will have access to live concerts as if you're in the audience.  Saw it on the news. Looks pretty cool and we would definitely need cash if we could watch every concert live from home

    I probably wouldn't need a sharpie and a wait in line if I were able to watch it from home. The lines to piss would be significantly shorter and I wouldn't have to wander too far for better tasting food.

    I wonder if the band would change their live show (setlists, length, how they conduct themselves on stage, banter, etc) if they knew they were creating a professionally or semi professionally filmed show for posterity.

    i don't think the band will do video boots. not of every show anyway. i'm sure dimi was talking about loads of dates when he mentioned save your money.

    This is a TOUR rumor thread, not a MERCH rumor thread.  I doubt the tease has anything to do with bootlegs or streaming.  It probably has to do with, you know, tour dates.

    I wouldn't read too much into "save your money"  With the amount of people who travel to see multiple shows, I would think it's just a tour. Maybe on a larger scale then previous ones.

    Technically streaming benefits albums with longer track listings. I think an album stream counts for 1 unit purchase after 9 tracks or something, so when you see records with 18-20 tracks, its so they get more "album purchases" with one stream of an album.

    Trent made his last EP and released it as an LP, so that it got featured with the weekly new albums. They don't feature EPs, they usually toss them in the singles section, so it gets less attention. It has less to do with attention.

    That being said, all double albums suck, they should be reduced to 12-14 killer tracks

    Yeah, a double album at this point would be a lot of filler songs.

    Ah ok, well after I posted I remembered something about Drake releasing a really long album to have it count for more. Or something like that.

    So there was no real advantage for Reznor releasing his EPs other than creative reasons? I remember reading it had something to do with streaming. But ok.
