Pretty obvious to me.  Native Americans have a protocol that determines if you are Native America...why would she not follow their protocol?

My brother in law is Metis (if you do not know what Metis is...google it)...he had to undergo their protocol for verification...not a dumb DNA test that does not prove much as far as Native Americans are concerned.

Well, we know most Americans don't give a fuck...it still goes to credibility?  and the fact that she was trying to exploit Native Americans culture to her advantage...the problem...I never see Native American issues discussed...are Americans embarrassed for what happened to the original owners of that piece of land.  Here in Canada, 1st nation issues are discussed extensively...

Clearly not you,  but you can't pretend that didn't damage her.  And she compounded it with the DNA test. 

That was stupid. It was also 8 months ago. Ever since, she's been rising in the polls and had a good debate on Wednesday. 

I guess I'm confused why this is a topic of conversation today.

I honestly think she was told that when she was a kid and grew up believing it and never really questioned it. Lots of families have stories like that that get past down from generation to generation and the facts of those stories can get blurry as the years and generations go by.

She should've handled the situation MUCH better. But is this a big deal or even a deal at all in the grand scheme of things, especially with someone who has zero credibility in the White House? Of course not. Back in October people though her campaign was over before it started. That's obviously not the case.

To me it sounds like you are fabricating narratives. 

Why?  Does it bother you what your Europeans ancestors did to our 1st nation's people? does the destruction of the 1st nation's culture by your European ancestors both you?  How about the Euros who destroyed 1st nations hunting grounds and were on a mission to wipe out as many animals as possible???
