The point is that there is no way in hell that they can't find "the right person" in a woman, considering how underrepresented women are by government (and considering that a woman has never held either of the two spots in the history of the nation), combined with the number of amazing women there are to choose from. yes i'm sure some sexism plays a part but i am still completely baffled by women who voted for  Trump. I know many education and intelligent women who admit to voting for the guy.  I honestly can't fathom how any woman could have voted for the guy over Hillary.

and to be honest in this election cycle I'm not necessarily interested in voting for the best Dem candidate. I'm interested in voting for the DEM candidate who has the best chance to beat Trump.  I almost don't care about their policies this cycle. It's  ONLY about getting this guy out of office ASAP.  I'll deal with any policy consequences after the fact.

There are some women that will vote against their interests, laugh at jokes that are demeaning to women, put up with unequal treatment at work - it is just how it always has been and it is how it is. Especially if this was the thinking of their parents and is the thinking of their husband and social group. Other women would rather gauge out their eyes before voting for him. 

Religion being the top answer makes 0 sense in regards to voting for Trump.

I personally edit my posts all the time because I decided I wanted to add stuff, and like it that way! (I just did it with this very post! Ha!). I do not expect people to wait for me to have time to do so though - if someone replies to the original before I posted an edit, I usually mention to them that I actually updated the post they quoted, in case they're interested in readdressing the edited version.
