    Nice projection on your part but I happened to catch one of his attorneys being grilled by Don Lemon and what she said and how they, meaning his team of lawyers, handled the case, without her shouting or spouting nonsense, leads me to believe that Jussie had a very accomplished legal team on his side who argued for their client before a judge and brought him justice. Not everything is a conspiracy theory. Oh my god! The justice system is under attack! Now maybe Team Trump Treason can find the real killer of Ron and Nicole.

    Yeah the police chief was pretty pissed off. Can't blame him considering it's one of the most violent cities in the world. Any resources or time wasted is a big deal.

    I wouldn't call it a victimless crime, really. I can't imagine that other actual hate crime victims won't be negatively impacted by what he did.

    I know it’s a manufactured crisis being exacerbated by Team Trump Treason for political purposes. But he just gave the dog whistle for militia members to go down there and shoot people as it’s more efficient. So there is that.

    In all seriousness, Smollett is full of shit and he's going to get away with it, but it's a victimless crime (other than wasting the police's time) so I don't really care. But there is an actual problem on the southern border. And it's such a Trump move to allow the problem to persist and sit there like "See? If we had a wall...." rather than actually taking action. 
    I wouldn't call it a victimless crime, really. I can't imagine that other actual hate crime victims won't be negatively impacted by what he did.
    I agree and I said the same thing a few posts ago in this thread. This post here was more to gauge if Halifax was being sarcastic about the southern border problem. So I figured I'd toss out a liberal talking point regarding Smollett to move on to the southern border topic. 
    I think Halifax doesn't agree that there is an "invasion" at the southern border. The word is extremely loaded. I agree with Halifax. There is a crisis, not an invasion. That is a very important distinction IMO ... And that crisis does NOT require a wall, like you said. And like I said just yesterday, Trump is not dealing with the real issues at the Southern border (or at all the other points of entry) at all, because he is focused on his ridiculous wall. And people are suffering for it.

    But hey, does any of that matter? I mean, the charges were dropped against Jusse Smollett. That is obviously the most important thing right now. ;)
