Just finished watching the documentary Period. End of Sentence. on Netflix, it was so good. I remember reading about this invention in the news a few years ago. Hopefully the docs success at the academy awards will translate into more $$$ donations which in turn can fund more machines.

Finished up The Bundy Tapes the other day. Good god, I had no idea he escaped from prison TWICE. I was wondering how they were going to fill in the rest of the time after the first episode covered most of his killings. What a story. And there's a movie with Zac Efron playing Bundy coming out, also on Netflix. Trailer looks good.

Triple Frontier - Not a big Affleck fan, but pretty entertaining. Nothing new, but done well and the musical selection is top notch. Not often you get to hear Orion by Metallica.

Agree on Triple Frontier, music-wise. Thought the movie itself was kind blah, although I liked that head-shot scene. Music was bitchin'.
If you have never seen this it is on Netflix....The Battered Bastards of Baseball - was very good if you are a fan of baseball.

Mercy Black Jump Scares 101. Definition of how not to do modern horror or any horror for that matter. We also get an appearance from Janeane Garofolo with freshly fake huge lips, I could barely tell it was her. Havent seen her in anything in ages.

I watched The Disappearance of Madelaine McCann over the weekend. Well shit. I was already totally aware of the case - who isn't?? But I didn't ever pay much attention when that was all in the news. My only really solid recollection was that the mom was getting terrible press that was trying to make her seem guilty. That, and the fact that leaving very young kids alone in hotel rooms isn't a good idea, duh. But I had NO clue that this case was so fucked up and had so many twists and turns until seeing this docuseries! It's actually a pretty interesting watch, if you're into this kind of thing. Also, I think Madelaine is probably still alive... I hope they find her one day. They've spent $11M pounds on searching for her, and counting. She'd be a teenager now... and I don't like to think about what her life has been like since she was snatched at the age of 3. It's just too sad and awful. I don't know how her parents put one foot in front of the other.

I hadn't heard of her; will be checking this out.
Right now I'm almost through with the first episode of the second season. A fascinating premise and I'll continue watching, but I can't quite get past that dance / movement thing they do.
