You should spend some time on the positivity thread.  It might do you some good.

    Congrats Keslowski.

Hendricks' Chase Elliott had a chance to bump and run him but didn't so he got second...

    Kyle Busch wins again.  Damn.

Penske and Coach Gibbs racing are killing it this year...

Would liked to have seen Older brother Kurt "wreck" his brother to take the win.  That would have been interesting, lol!

Hendricks had Johnson doing well so maybe they will turn it around.

I thought the racing overall at Bristol was great on Sunday.  Lots of passing and action going throughout the race.  Sucks the place was almost empty though.

I saw that too.  The turns had NO ONE!!! 35,000 people in a 160,000 venue is a problem.

Not sure what is going on with the attendance?  I know it's down all around.

I love the product and do like seeing Busch and Keslowski winning as I like both of those drivers even though they aren't my Hendricks drivers.

Ive never been to Bristol but from what I've heard, it's not the easiest track to get too.  There's also very limited number of hotels in the area and most of them charge $300 per night with a 2 night minimum.  Plus Bristol already has some of the highest ticket prices of all the tracks.  I think it's a combination of all those factors.  Plus just the general lack of interest over the last few years.

  • Congratulations to Kyle Busch!

    Your 2019 NASCAR champion.

  • This weekend is the NASCAR season opener with The Daytona 500.

I'll be rooting for William Byron again as long as he is driving that 24 car!

I miss enjoying racing. But post Gordon just hasn't been the same for me. 2000-2013ish was a great era. Maybe I just grew bored of it. Idunno...

Obviously I'm a Gordon fan but I still enjoy the racing.  Toyota has been killing it which is interesting.

Jimmy Johnson is retiring too.  Give a watch to see him one last time.

Used to really enjoy watching it.  Always rooted for Gordon and I think after he left I was done with it. It started before Gordon leaving though.  Can’t say exactly why but jus got old.

Hell of a wreck at the end there.

  • Great race today.

Logano was being a jerk and finally got some Karma and was wrecked.

Hamlin, a Team Jordan Member, won the Daytona 2 years in a row.  Hell of a race down to the end.

Ryan Newman got wrecked hard.  Hit the wall then Lajoie t-boned him, not meaning too of course but he got hit hard on the drivers side while being upside down.  You just don't see cars flip over like that anymore.

Hope he's ok.  Congrats Danny.  Logano I usually like but not this race.

I was just writing about it.  Hopefully Newman is ok.

Serious condition but non life threatening for Newman. Great news.

Great to see this is not life threatening.

I didn't know until this happened and I was reading Twitter posts. Ryan and his wife announced they were splitting the day before Valentine's Day and 3 days prior to the 500. This has not been a good week for Ryan Newman.
