Well no, over 20 million people have seen it on YouTube (over 40 million eyeballs). Only a small fraction of those who watched bothered to like or dislike. So it might just tell us that only those with particularly strong emotions about it bother rating it, and that when a specifically strong reaction occurs, it is more likely to be a negative one. Knee jerks reactions from assholes, probably, lol.mickeyrat said:

No it's not. An advertisement serves notice of a product or service. This is a short propaganda film. And that's not a bad thing. "Propaganda" usually has a negative connotation but it really means to promote a particular point of view. That's what this video does. It doesn't advertise anything.HughFreakingDillon said:it's an advertisement by gillette.

I have not been to a Nascar race in years, NASCAR race day is a fun day. And unlike most other sports/concerts/entertainment. NASCAR was not out to nickel and dime you, I used to go to MIS, free parking, bring in your own booze and food and you can leave to go restock as often as you want, the 50 dollar ticket was a good deal in the entertainment world as any.Give Peas A Chance…0

I've watched three laps of NASCAR in my life. I was in 11th grade and was picking up my girlfriend who was finishing up watching the Daytona 500 with her family. So I watched along waiting for it to end.
 The first lap was boring.
 The second lap was boring.
On the third lap, Dale Earnhardt died.
Can you imagine that? Never ever watched the sport in my life and when I finally do, one of it's most legendary competitors dies. That's like tuning into your first NBA game and Michael Jordan dies during it. Her family was understandably shell-shocked by this as he was their favorite driver.

Last time I went I could. Love going to NASCAR. They really know how to treat their fans well. Do not follow as much since Gordon retired. I do like Gordon as a broadcaster.tempo_n_groove said:

More to my point then. Think how much that would have cost to air via ad buys? Now they that have that exposure and you can be sure it was shown on various newscasts for even more exposure. FREE.PJ_Soul said:

Well what have we here? Hmmm....seems like you have a personal vendetta against me to (attempt to) make a joke at my expense like this one. Were you offended when poked fun at how lame your attempts at comedy were with "Troy Acheman" and "Tony Blowmo" in the NFL thread? Or that I think that only a simpleton would think "Team Trump Treason" is something clever to type over and over and over and over again? Did I hurt your feelings, Halifax? Sorry buddy. I know how sensitive your type can be.Halifax2TheMax said:

Well anyway, as for THAT girl, if my memory serves me correctly, we broke up in the summer of that year. And no, the father and family didn't look at me as a grim reaper lol. All good... we all do that when we're used to keyboard combat. I remember the day too. It was on in the background.. I didn't particularly like any racer although I kind of rooted for Gordon because all of the rednecks hated him. He seemed like a pretty boy northerner.Ledbetterman10 said:
