    I think he has the capacity for average intelligence.
    I think it's been close to 50 years since he even had to attempt to use that capacity.
    He's a coddled and swaddled baby, insulated from ever having to think or learn or analyze anything.  All the business decisions that were based on data and logic were made for him and everything that comes to his desk is a gut reaction decision.  People have been making that clear for decades, long before he got political at all.

    According to the story, Trump has convinced his unnamed foreign counterpart to stop doing this, which will mean a savings of “millions and millions of dollars” to American taxpayers.

    It all sounded quite nice, although the conversation almost certainly didn’t happen in reality. The Washington Post tried to find a country that met Trump’s description. No such country exists.

    Yesterday he said that he could fund the wall tomorrow by declaring it a national emergency and use defense funds already appropriated.  

    Why not just do it then?  Dems should be calling him out on that statement 24/7.  If he can just snap his fingers and make it happen then this shutdown is clearly his fault...as if it wasn't clear already.
