Propulsive and melodic, with a great beat. Nice to hear a song that faces up to some of the craziness in the world, rather than escape from it. Plus, like most of their songs, it sounds even better in concert.
Despite how anyone feels about the song, (I personally like it, definitely 1000x better live, and I think they should re-record it with the faster tempo and energy of the live version)... but anyways, just the fact that it was released 9 months ago is mind blowing, and it was 'from the forthcoming album'... which made everyone think new album soon!!! But then they still haven't even released the last 2 annual singles, so at this point it's just depressing...

My question is do we think this track will actually make it onto the album when/if it ever gets released? We are way beyond the typical time line of a "lead single from a forthcoming album" kind of situation. I could actually see the track not making it onto the actual release and goes into the history books as a one-off release instead, which of course is hilarious to me because of the "forthcoming album" remarks!

To be fair they first said it was a Christmas Single, then from the forthcoming album, which seems contrarian. Now it'll probably end up on neither Kind of like Ole.
Omg.. that's it. Put Ole/Can't Deny Me as the 2017 single
I thought it may get the Crapshoot Rapture treatment....new title, different lyrics...improve it a bit and there we go. Comatose made the self titled album. Can’t Deny Me may end up the same way.

No.

That is a bit of gap between single release and album and certainly not the usual. Muse did release Dig Down almost a year before their last album. Though they didn't promote it as being off something new coming out, just put out the song.
