  • Looks like Santa Barbara 03 is the first up at 1pm EST tomorrow.  Be interesting to see if they bump the price up from the original sale since they are donating half of the money raised to charity.

I’ll be picking up my mail at the end of December so have your set shipped to my Niagara Falls, NY address before then and I can drive it back across the border then mail to you.

So true.  Bad enough they’re reprinting these again.  Now they’re opening the door to the scammers.

Did anyone see that ROME reprint on ebay? Whats the deal with that?

Matter of time before someone sells that as a show poster. Not cool.

Do you mean the one without Pearl Jam name on it?  Emek was doing that from his shop if that's what you are referring to.

And the worst part is that it looks better than the obvious junk reproduction of the Pittsburgh poster floating around on ebay.  That Rome one might actually fool people who aren't paying attention.

So they’re printing MORE of the XL Kong’s or is this from the original print run?
    $350-$500. Kong was $500.

PS Larger than life cash grab....Imagine the $$$ they are going to charge the rubes for shipping those tree trunks.
To be fair to get an actual 98 molson park is way more than that. A pinhold one was on here for 1000.

    12 prints at roughly $500/each = $6000 ($3000 going to charity).

That's some expensive wallpaper, but hey if half goes to charity...
Eh not quite, they said 50% of the profit will be going to charity....

Tempting, but as much as I would want Barrie 1998, because was there, I can't justify $500 when I want a Lost Dogs vinyl more.

But I get why people would want these.

Off topic but I just bought a 18$ Toronto Maple Leaf alarm clock for my nephew for Christmas off Ebay. They charged me 14$ for custom and handling at the door on top of the shipping. 10$ flat fee from Canada Post is outrageous.

Technically it's the CBSA that inspects packages coming into Canada (from usps to Canada Post).  I believe the fee goes to customs.  Canada post delivers the package after it goes through the CBSA (and collects the fee).

$10 is about as cheap as it gets for brokerage fee's.   UPS charges a fee that depends on the value of their order.  Usually a min of $30.  Fedex is around $20 etc...

I will say, the CBSA really ramped up package enforcement about a year ago.    They hired a bunch more staff and started being more thorough.  The technical limit for mail packages coming into Canada is $20 cdn which is about $15ish USD?   It's insanely low.  The new trade agreement is supposed to increase it to a whopping $40 cdn ($30 usd).

Most people don't realize all this stuff because the CBSA was barely enforcing packages under $100.  It seemed coincidental but enforcement magically ramped up during the heated free trade negotiations.

ps.  if you can get the seller to mark the package as a gift the tax free limit goes up to $60 cdn.

True though Canada Post gets the handling fee which is 9.99$ and customs gets the taxes depending on the price of the item. I should have asked her to drop down the price but thought my 18$ item would of snuck through. The new NAFTA agreement is supposed raise this limit but it would have been nice to have been implemented before Christmas.
