I d love for them to play arenas with reserved seating on the floor!! Oh yeah!!!!
They won't. They sell far fewer tickets that way.
(I definitely support there being as many available 10C tix as possible)
You could be my plus one if there is reserved seating in vancouver.  I am usually in the first 8 rows.

With this tease today, any idea of when an official announcement will be made? A few days? Week(s)?

This is obviously about the upcoming band breakup announcement. The storm is referring to the madness that will ensue on this board.
  • Wonder if it has anything to do with the just announced NHL team in Seattle and a rumour from a year or so ago about the band doing a Seattle residency as part of a new arena deal for that.

I’ve been keeping a mental log of PJ tour patterns since the advent of social media and seen them on most of their tours over the last 20 years.   Based on the few facts we have about recording a “forthcoming album”,  prior social media campaigns, and prior tours, I personally think this is more than a suddle himt that an announcement is forthcoming.   I would say there is a 75% chance 2019 shows get announced before the end the year and new album by spring.

As a resident of houston, I’d say it’s unlikely we get a show.

I could be full of shit and maybe I’ve had too much wine tonight.

With the fact that they posted a photo of a concert venue and then on the same day a photo from a studio, it seems like there is a good chance things are brewing.  I don't suspect any announcements soon though.  Would be surprised to hear anything before March.

Matt released a story on insta showing three pics. A recording device, an iPad near instruments and a Ludwig drum set. IDK WTF that means but seems like a recording studio.

Best way to do that is just play more shows.  Dave Matthews Band did/doing like nearly 70 shows this year.  I was at the Times Union Center last night in Albany NY.  I had row AA sec 121 seats for them.  I have not been a consistent long term member of the Warehouse.  I usually end up with Balcony seats on their summer tour if I happen to get tickets.  You play a ton of shows it spreads the wealth.
His eminence has yet to show.
