    I wish this was in Seattle. But happy that we did have our first Chris Cornell tribute on his birthday. It was held at the historic Crocodile.

    Chris was a member of Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, and Audioslave. Chris was not a member of Pearl Jam. I don't find it strange at all that the event is advertised as such. It's a Chris Cornell tribute - clearly the emphasis is on the fact that members of HIS former bands will be paying tribute to him.

    Why would Pearl Jam or Eddie be mentioned when neither Pearl Jam nor Eddie will be performing? Now THAT would be strange...
    Ok yeah I get that. It's just Chris and Eddie (and PJ) had such a close relationship I'm just surprised there's no mention...but I see your point. Well said.

    It's also helping raise money for EB. Being a cause that Ed has been really involved in, I think there's a decent chance he will be there.

    Edit - not that he needs that incentive to be there

    Glad he's being honored. Nice talented person I had the pleasure of watching scream his lungs out-louder than love-and kick the ceiling tiles out of city gardens. He was the original club climber after all. Lots of love to family & fans forever...

    I'd kill to go to this, probably not gonna happen though.

    I hope Chris' solo band feature somewhere in this, they were a great bunch of musicians, I'm sure they'd want to pay their respects too.

    It would be redundant to say Pearl Jam too.

    Would be great if there was a 10C ticket offer, even if limited. Didn't they offer tix for the event honoring The Who a few years back?

    If Ed doesn't show up, I will wonder what his deal is.  He does love hollywood types and his celebrity friends, so maybe he will be there.

    Made sure I talked to them after a meet a greet after a small club show...everyone was going gaga over CC - not that there is anything wrong with that -  and these guys were just hanging out.  
    Very cool guys and the lead guitarist could shred.
