given he is Canadian, his opinion means dogshit.njnancy said:
Actually, who someone votes for is no one's business and you cannot be compelled to disclose that. Pride in participating in the most important civic duty that a democracy has may feel wrong for you, but it feels good for others. So why piss on pride? If you are being turned away because of broken machines in Detroit - you should call 866-OUR-VOTE to report it.Meltdown99 said:Maybe less money on stickers and more money voting machines. People in Detroit are being stalled and turned away due to broken machines. I do not need a sticker to advertise I voted. Whether someone votes or not is there business ... at least at one time that use to be the case.

She also said if any Republicans voted democrat she would blow them. I think I've fallen in love with this red haired comedic beauty lol0 -
i have voted in every major election in my adult life and i have never gotten or seen an 'I voted' sticker. nor do i care to have one but still.0

Nope. and never seen one at my polling place but i don't pay much attention to those types of things. I'll have to ask others in my area if they have seen or gotten them.mrussel1 said:

Yeah, there is usually a little old lady saying “Don’t forget your sticker!”mrussel1 said:

I have never been offered a sticker in all the years that I have voted, so I asked. There are two districts that vote in my voting place so I went to the other side of my son's grammar school gym and asked a bunch of people before I was pointed over to the end of a table where I finally found a nearly empty page of stickers. I wanted a sticker for once and when no one jumped up or was moderately eager to help me, I wasn't gonna leave without a freaking sticker.PJPOWER said:

I’m actually a bit surprised they let you wear that shirt to the polling place. Many states have laws that prevent people from wearing political clothing in polling places.njnancy said:Walked in and out in five minutes - took the longest to get my sticker. But the number on my voter ticket was 3 x's higher than usual, especially for a midterm. Election volunteers said that there was above average first time voter and young people turnout. Awesome. And there are 4 hours left to vote, so still have the after work crowd. Didn't get to vote as a family, but everyone voted. Kinda bummer. Life.

I don't think it counts unless it's about the current candidates being voted for that day. There are only laws against campaigning at polling stations, which means campaigning for the people on the ballots. Nobody's going to be stopped from wearing a Nixon shirt or something, lol.PJPOWER said:

True, lol! I always thought it was just in regards to the current candidates as well, but also just read that a person wearing a Trump shirt had take it off and voted shirtless in South Carolina, so IDK.PJ_Soul said:

There were plenty of people wearing VOTE FOR BETO, GILLUM, ABRAMS shirts on the news at the polling places today. And MAGA hats. I had a jacket over my shirt since it's raining and shitty out here, but if not coming from work, I've always worn shirts that are political or in support of voting on election day. I doubt any of the people who couldn't find stickers would have confronted me.PJ_Soul said:
