Does anyone find themselves just endlessly scrolling through all the content on Netfix? I do it all the time. There's so much quality there, I have a hard time making a decision on what to watch.

Reminds me of walking up and down the aisles of Blockbuster back in the day....

I scroll through and can’t find a damn thing to watch because it all looks like garbage.

Talking movies here. Some of the shows have been decent (Wormwood, Stranger Things, The Haunting of Hill House, to name a few).

I find it interesting how they 'find' stuff that's compatible to my tastes - and they are almost always right.

Oh god, I still have Blockbuster gift cards that I never used.  And I used to use my VCR/CD placer. Now I have a collection of VHS tapes that I'd love to convert to CD's but I haven't seen a VCR in a long time.

Most of the things on My List are shows.  Lots I will ultimately watch an episode or two and remove but there are so many to choose from.

Watching Season 2 of Making a Murderer and halfway thru I find it just as compelling as the first. Watching K. Zellner build her case and the testings/ scientific findings of old and new evidence is very interesting.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

I agree. I wound up watching the entire season within 24 hours. She certainly is good at what she does. And I would not want to live in that town - gives me the creeps.

I'm one of the people who said the ending was rushed. And I think so because I thought it needed more for what you, mace, called the side story in the finale. I was actually interested in that, and wanted more detail there, which is why I thought it was rushed, lol. They could have added another full episode or two and dealt with it all properly instead of trying to cram it in there the way they did.
I'll try to not give any spoilers.
But the problem I had was the Dudley's were not in any of the current time frames, but then they spent a bug chunk of the finale on them and their lives. I didn't care about any of that since they were never introduced in the current time frame. So I think they maybe should have spread that story out over the lest 3 or 4 episodes, or just cut it out completely. Not introduce that story and wrap it up all in the last episode. So I agree with you it definitely was rushed because of that, but I dont think it was necessary either.
That Dudley story would have been a great episode 6, like how they did a perspective of each child for 1-5, do one of theirs and introduce some of that then. I just didn't like the way that part was done.
But still a great show, that is literally my only complaint about it.

I go back and forth on the ending to hill house and how much I liked it. The show runner gave one idea that they almost used that I think would have been great.  I'll be curious if they do a 2nd season how it works. As an anthology show? The Dudley story could be the focus then, and what it was like for them when they first got to the house prior to this season.

Watched a short documentary called Sacrifice yesterday. A social experiment on overcoming fears to see how far we will go to help a stranger; would we take a bullet for someone we didn’t know?

I literally just came from my son's room and that's what he is watching and I laughed at him cause I used to play Castlevania and thought it was weird that there was a show about it. Guess the joke is on me!?

    I was semi-trolling   :)

I assumed it was about a robbery based on the title of the show but they could have been playing Foosball the entire time in that preview and I would have had just as good idea as what to expect from the series.

Watched the first episode of The Haunting of Hill House. It was excellent. Great cast.
Big fan of the director, Mike Flanagan.

    Great actors (dudleys, super boring)
Decent story; would have been better WITHOUT THE GHOSTS ;)

Thru 7 episodes of The Haunting of Hill House and its prob the best thing I've watched in a long time. Episode 6 is a master class in directing/cinematography. The long complex extended shots and acting were phenomenal.
This show has it all. Deep characters mixed with horror and genuine sadness at times. The story telling is fantastic.
I just finished Ep 6. Holy shit. That needs to win some awards.
