Lowlight needs to be given a rest I get that it shows off Mike’s skills, but Even Flow doesn’t have to be extended all time. Keep on playing it though. Just Breathe should join Just a Girl on the shelf. 28 songs with the correct tempo is better than 34 rushed songs. Encore 2 needs to be shaken up a bit. The trio of Alive- Rocking- YL is tired. Pop Alive someplace else in the set, retire Rocking forever and give YL a rest for a tour. Crazy Mary hasn’t good been in 15 years. Marker in the sand is the best post 2002 song. Enough with the Cubs.
I dont like the jammin in the middle of Even Flow. I dont like Daughter live. Do the Evolution does nothing for me nor does State of love and Trust I dont like Down or Leatherman. Dirty Frank is dreadful.
I hate if anyone criticises anything about any aspect of PJ, they get bashed here. I hate PJs Rockin in the Free World I hate Crazy Mary, such a boring song. Slow Lukin or Fast Lukin, who cares, both are shite. Tambourines, who cares. I dont get the big deal about certain merch items but everyone to their own.
I dont care for any of the bands they plug like the Ramones, Who etc. Being Irish, I don't get the big deal with Glen Hansard although his band The Frames were always more popular here.
I like an angry Eddie. Corduroy from LA a few years back was amazing. Jeff is so cool to watch live. Mike is even better.
I love Yellow Ledbetter. I love slow starters. I love Faithful, Save You, Green Disease, Not For You, Dissident, LB song, Marker, Severed Hand, Inside Job, Come Back, Animal, Hail Hail, Light Years. Hard to Imagine and Hold On are fantastic and should be played more often. I love bootlegs. Release them all. Dont mind Eddies rant. I actually don't have a dislike for any particular album. I love Pearl Jam.
Was only joking about Ole, its awful.

I don't really agree with Talking Heads > Pearl Jam, but I agree that Talking Heads is better than all the other ones listed in The Talking Heads > RHCP > Pearl Jam > The Who > Soundgarden > Alice in Chains > Nirvana
Also, I can't stand Mick Jagger's voice. It's far too affected for my tastes.
I'll never understand the love for Talking Heads - I just don't get it. With this said, I dislike a lot of eighties music (and I grew up in the 1980's!).
David Byrne is a genius.
my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf

This feels like getting the spotlight at a support group . . . My turn lol I can't help but connect the dots between Brendan O'Brien's return to the band and the over produced commercial sound to the records he's since worked on (Listen to the difference between Self-Titled and Backspacer . . . .). Eddie is starting to sound like a youth pastor at shows. Can't understand why people don't like Parachutes. That song is amazing. We don't get many PJ songs with that kind of vibe. I don't know why people like Alive so much. The amount of attention Ten gets, as opposed to their other stuff, it like saying, "Yea the best time of my life was my angsty high school days." The jams/extra bits they get into on stage, I freaking love (Evenflow, extended bass part within Save You, longer outro to Big Wave, etc.). I never understood why they don't put straight instrumental tracks on their records (More like Aye Davanita), or more loose jammy stuff (like instead of fading out at the end of Big Wave on the record, why not just keep it going? I hate it cause you can hear the band really starting to get into something rocking and then . . . nope.) The band clearly has the chops to do it. That's one of the main differences between their records, and live shows. Wish they could bridge that gap. Gone is terrible. Nothingman is super depressing and is a bummer live. And stop playing Wishlist if you're gonna forget the words %90 of the time hahaha.

I'd buy more from tenclub if we weren't hit with such high import fees in the UK....Actually maybe thats a popular opinion hahaha. Maybe use the euro store as an actual store to sell the US based stuff through. That would go a long way with the thousands of Euro fans.
Yield is their weakest record. Sevens is and was, a stupid idea. Pittsburgh 2013 poster is ugly. Alive needs to be pulled for a little while. 2000-2007 were the most fun years to be a PJ fan.
Just a guess, but have to think this is a pretty popular opinion. 3 studio albums plus Lost Dogs and Benaroya Hall. Sprawling tours of North America and Europe. Brought out some awesome openers on the road.
