Another unpopular opinion about Pearl Jam Music:

Tired of seeing threads trying to tell the band what to play, what not to play, how to play it, and what is meaningless.  Pearl Jam music is great and they can play whatever the heck they want -- whatever is fun for them and sees them keep wanting to play shows for us wacky fans.

I think 2 hours is a good length for a Pearl Jam show.

I don't like the three slow song open that is going on at these shows.  One slow song and then get the show going.

There should be a rule that the hits cannot be played at more than three consecutive shows.

Philadelphia/Chicago are not the best places to see Pearl Jam despite how often people from those places claim them to be.

    - Of the Earth isn't that good
    - s/t is the best post 2000 record
    - Pink Floyd covers/tags should stop
    - They should stop making albums and just do 4-6 tracks EPs every 2-3 years.
    - People have heartbreaking stuff happen to them everyday, stop trying to get a song request out of it. Its run its course

Hey, stick to ripping on the band and not the fans. We made this band.
    It's a hopeless situation...

I m not sure if I ever mentioned this but I despise “you are”.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......
  • You Are is by far the best song on Riot Act, in fact it's not even close....

I'd like to see Ed break his ukulele some night, Pete Townsend style.

While I like Pearl Jam, they are not my Favorite band.
In fact they may be my 3rd favorite band, and I will actually go months without listening to a single PJ song. I like Nascar and think pineapple belongs on pizza, Sirens is a great song and Nickleback is actually not a bad band.

    You're despised!
I wonder if there was ever any deliberation about naming the song You're rather than You Are.   =)

    • I think it is a great thing that Dirty Frank is not played
    • I find NAIS boring
    • I think Stone is a better guitar player than Mike and wish Mike would not play Eruption b/c he does not have EVH's chops or tone
    • I really would like to see PJ open with Yellow Ledbetter
    • Non PJ - I hate the Doors and find Radiohead meh outside of a few songs

Using any of the following phrases is really really lame:
    1. Uncle Neil (you aren’t in the band and he isn’t your uncle.)
    2. Jamily
    3. It doesn’t get “Eddie Vedder” than this. (No, no and no.)

This is kind of in line with saying "We won the division this year" but the person is not a member of a pro sports team.  They are a fan.
