Politics aside, doesn’t the whole ad agency at Nike that went forward with this campaign get shit canned immediately?
So glad I bought more of it last week
Thanks Nike0 -
I would have bought some if I was into that sort of thing, I was very confident this was a good decision.
It's all about demographics, MAGA types don't wear high-end Nike gear. They wear hoodies and socks and cheap athletic shorts. Jordans, Dri-FIT, Pegasus...those are the money brands, and it isn't surprising that the MAGA crowd isn't buying that stuff.
The hilarious thing is that a typical American MAGA idiot who thought this was a bad move never even considered international sales, which account for a majority of Nike's revenue
Not surprising the MAGA crowd forgot about sales abroad lolMonkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

(The NY Times made an open invitation for any historian to come forward with proof of anything in this book as being false. To my knowledge, no one had been able to do that.)Excellent! To me, reading it was a lot like reading the South Pacific/Asian version of Dee Brown's Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. The raw truth about parts of US history that have been conveniently ignored. Will look forward to hearing your thoughts on it."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

Serious question: nobody has questions about the Pentagon and 9/11? No curiosity? No intrigue? No need to challenge the official narrative? No video? The damage site and lack of debris? 19 assholes with boxcutters supposedly turn the world upside down and nobody is supposed to question it?

I can't imagine how much nikes would cost if people were paid decent wages to make them. or the companies would just have to adjust profit margins to reflect their new expenses, since no one would pay $1000 for a pair of sneakers.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

So using oppressed labour is ok as long as everyone has affordable poor quality consumer goods?Give Peas A Chance…0

This is why the Trans Pacific Partnership was so important. It wasn't just about "free trade", that was a minor part. Labor standards were a really big part of it. But we walked away.0

The ridiculously massive profit margins are the cause of the ever-growing chasm between the rich and the rest of us.As for the comments about Nike quality... I have never bought anything low quality from Nike. I've got 10 year old runners that are still in good shape, and a 12 year old track jacket that is in great condition too. I think the quality is good. Not sure what products people are buying that are crappy, but I've never bought them... Has the quality of Nike only recently dropped off or what?Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Hahahaha thinking about all the dumbass morons that destroyed Nike gear only to hear that the company's value is through the roof....damn, that just feels good.
