still trying to decipher that post above.  Were they adopted while in line?  Just learned they're adults now?  And they won't move out???  I'm so confused.
I did adopt them while in line...they just seemed so appreciative.  In hindsight, I suspect that they were just wanting to cut in line, but I was filled with Pearl Jam beer, bourbon and candied nuts.  When in that state of mind I find it difficult to decipher ages...I usually think people in the twilight of their respective lives are a lot younger than they are.  This has gotten me in a bit of trouble, but has allowed me to reap the rewards of some not-so-well known AARP discounts.

After I adopted them, but before I realized that they were over 50 and terrific indulgers in Spaghetti-O's, I took them to my house to what I suspected they would eventually come to call home.  Imagine my suprise when I woke up and they were making calls to their kids in Australia on my home line.  I don't even have an international plan.  As you know, it can be very difficult to evict people from your home, especially after adult-adopting them in a Pearl Jam line through an attorney (was she an attorney?) who happened to be walking by Safeco Field.

While there is much more to say, I have digressed too much at this point...suffice it to say that the bastards have moved on to consuming all of my Chef Boyardee Beefaroni (despite an expiration date in the late 1990's), are pretending that "Australian" is a different language and that they cannot understand me, and are demanding through hand signals and pictographs for me to give them money and their share of the "Train" poster set.  By the way, thanks to those hard core PJ fans who so willingly sent me a copy of each poster (except for the Ozzy Crazy Train---can someone pick up the slack please?) for the "kids".  I know that it appears that I may be flipping them but it is just a coincidence that "ThunterSHompson" is trying to sell those exact posters (also minus the Crazy Train variant) on Ebay....total coincidence...move along, these aren't the droids you are looking for....

Gimmick?  A realistic representation of the difficult people that Ms. Swift (if you're nasty) has had to endure on her way to the top of the music world is more like it...

(heard she is going to cover Sirens when she gets to Seattle)

serious question.  If PJ were to do a Taylor tag during Daughter, what medley from a Taylor song would you want to hear?

    I'd go with:

Do you remember, we were sittin', there by the water?
You put your arm around me for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing, that's ever been mine

they should do a Blues Brothers & the Bluesmobile variant since they are in Chicago, seems only appropriate

  • This is great.  Really need to zoom in too to appreciate a lot of the little references! The graffiti and cousin Eddie in the window are greatness.
