anyone planning on trying to hear soundchecks from their hotel rooms if close by? Please post them when you hear. Thx!

Okay, nice, thanks. I presume they'll do sounchecks on Sunday late morning or early afternoon, but I do wonder if they get into town on early Saturday that they may do soundchecks then.
As soon as I got my tickets, I booked an Airbnb on Brookline for $85/night- it’s supposed to be a 15-20 minute walk to Fenway. First time in Boston and I can’t wait.
Sheraton on Dalton Street.... train out of DC, get there Sat evening, hit the show Sunday and head back Monday morning... Damn I love some PJ traveling....

I don't have tickets yet or a hotel. The wife and I went to both nights at Wrigley ( our first and second PJ show ) and the wife is totally hooked on seeing them live. So, our crazy plan, work on getting tickets. Looks like a sub $200 a night hotel is the double tree on Cambridge road. Any reviews good or bad staying here? Never been to Boston before. The hotel is 2 miles from Fenway. As a side note, we walked over 22 miles the weekend of the Wrigley shows. I was not planning on getting a hotel,just driving up there, seeing the show and then driving back to cleveland, Ohio. But the stories I have heard about the cost of parking in Boston near Fenway $80 - $125, the hotel cost is not too much more than that.

Welcome all out-of-towners. There will be lots of people in town with the holiday, college move-in weekend and of course, a certain concert playing at Fenway. Be safe, have fun and don't drink and drive!
I have tons of Hyatt points so always stay there. Anyone have any experience with the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor? Seems like an OK spot with a little ferry ride to get to town. The other Hyatt isn't taking points right now.
I'm staying there - got an early morning flight home so proximity to airport was key.

The Verb! I’ve stayed here for a lot of shows in Boston and love it. Last time I stayed here was for LCD soundsystem and got the Neil Young-PJ room (well, had this cool pic on the wall anyway). Driving to/fro on Night 2!
