I love that there are fans that want to hear sirens or even leather man - because if I’m sitting next to them and they’re stoked - then I get excited. I love the vibes

I didn't think so. I don't like it, and I also think Eddie usually kind of butchers it live, and it sounds better on the album, which isn't saying much, coming from me.

The title of this thread made me giggle, lol.
Just to clarify....I was referring to Sleeping by Myself from Chicago 1

Sirens I can't stand live or record

huh?  I would grab a beer during that song but I don't see how it is hypocritical....like not even in the ballpark of the definition

Something about John Lennon sitting behind a $50,000 ivory white grand piano, in a gated mansion, with a psychedelic Bentley parked in the garage, telling me to "imagine no possessions" never sat well with me.....just my opinion.  Cheers!

well....he was a musician after all.

But the lyric is "imagine"....as in what if none of this shit mattered and we all just got along.  Of course it could never happen

Lennon stated: "'Imagine', which says: 'Imagine that there was no more religion, no more country, no more politics,' is virtually the Communist Manifesto, even though I'm not particularly a Communist and I do not belong to any movement."

the gated mansion? What was he doing the day he died? Meeting the people, signing autographs

Maybe that mansion wasn't such a bad idea and actually necessary

    Ah, I see, sorry.
I don't even mind the band's version of SBM as a stand alone song. I just don't think it was a good choice for an album, to say the least.

Are you ppl fucking kidding me

It’s a fragile thing, this life we lead,
If I think too much, I can get overwhelmed  by the grace by which we live
Our lives with death over our shoulders.

    Please. Stop with this nonsense.

    No, just no.

I have been sirens free for the last six shows I have seen and it has been glorious.
Anything you lose from being honest
You never really had to begin with.

Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.

Sorry I couldn't hear you over the cheesy power ballad guitar riff.

    It sucks, end of story.
