    Father of three here.  6-year-old son, 4-year-old daughter, 2-year-old son.  We play Pearl Jam in our home on a regular basis.  They are all my Pearl Jam buddies.  Your story absolutely breaks my heart.  I could not imagine.  I hope for you, you wife and Matt that Forever Young finds its way onto one of the Boston setlists.  If it happens to be Night 1, you will see some grown man crying going on in Box 7.  Thanks for sharing your story.

    I remember being at a PJ show in 95 or something and Ed said he was having a personal dilemma where he felt being a singer in a rock band wasn’t noble. So he felt compelled to not only learn guitar but be worthy of being up there. 

    PJ is an amazing band who can to me do no wrong. But this is may be the best thing they do right. The shows are for us.
