    I remember the riots downtown when I lived in Portland after he won the election. It was a complete shitshow and was hard to stomach. I hope that calmer heads prevail. This life is far too short to waste it on hating someone over race, sexual orientation, etc...

    I would strongly consider not going for two reasons.  1) because guns will be involved and someone is likely to be shot and 2) because if nobody went but a bunch of right wing nut jobs, they would only be preaching their bullshit to themselves.  If no one went and the media stayed away, the cockroaches would scurry back into the dark in a hurry and sit there and fume in their grease pits.  Is going to an event like this sort of like feeding trolls? I think so.   I could be wrong on this one, but that's my thought.
