Let justice prevail. If there is any criminal activity, let the sun shine on it and our legal system do what it's meant to do. That's no matter the person, no matter what organization, red or blue or green. Get the criminals out of our government. Then maybe criminals won't be invited to our White House. Just a few thoughts after I stopped laughing when I saw the headline. Have a great weekend all.Falling down,...not staying down0

With the exception of endorsing child molester Roy Moore, this summit with Putin was the most pathetic moment of the Trump presidency (so far). Throwing your own intelligence agencies under the bus to side with the president of Russia? Maybe Trump didn't want to acknowledge Russian meddling because it would call into question the legitimacy of his election win. From Trump's perspective, I can understand that. But I think it really shows that the Russian government has something on Trump. Not a pee-pee tape or whatever, but some over-the-top shady business dealings. Cause otherwise, why would Trump act so cowardly towards Putin? One thing Trump's shown over the past two years is a willingness to disrespect anyone and everyone. So why back down to this guy? Unless it's in Trump's best interest to do so.
Besides all the obvious stuff that makes Trump terrible, there's something to be said about any American (let alone the President) that respects and gets along with the Russian President and North Korean Dictator, but can't get along with the German Chancellor or British and Canadian Prime Ministers. Hell he even found a way to disrespect Queen Elizabeth. What a sociopath.

I guess wmd in iraq due to our intellegence agencies is now forgiven. They can do no wrong.
I have a healthy distrust for the USA defense & intelligence apparatus, but I definitely trust them a lot more than this POS.
So you're saying they didnt hack state election systems and a major political party?

I'm reading a book called "Prisoners of Geography" and the first chapter details the geography of Russia. It is a great discussion of how the geography of Russia informs every decision that country makes both now and in the past, for defense and trade purposes. Why did Putin annex Crimea? To regain a warm water port (defense and trade). Why hasn't Ukraine been admitted to NATO? Because we fear war with Russia (rightly so). Why does Putin support Assad in Syria (in part)? To have a naval presence in the Mediterranean. All this being said, while I think Trumps' advisors understand a lot of Putin's motivations, I don't think Trump has ANY understanding and, even worse, he refuses to be briefed and to educate himself on any of this. He thinks he can strong arm people and win. This is not the way geopolitics work. This is why Trump should never be allowed to meet alone with any leader. I can't support any president that doesn't even TRY to learn. I detested GW Bush but he at least had an understanding of issues. Trump supporters need to quit worrying about Hillary and start worrying about the coming storm. Are we getting something out of this all-encompassing trip?
Seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned...
