    I agree 100% about the propaganda from all sides, no doubt about that.  But you're saying that these right leaning African Americans are essentially being used as tools.. as if they have no say in the matter.  There are black conservatives out there, believe it or not.. Why so much focus on skin color?  I thought the idea was to be past that.  You know.. something about "content of their character" or something.. People are people.  We're all different behind the eyes..

    Whether or not this "walk away" hashtag thing on social media is a Russian scheme or not, there are actual people out there who are having trouble with the present day, mainstream "liberalism" - if you want to call it that.  And the identity politics thing is a big part of it.  Now it doesn't mean that they are running into the open, grabby arms of the president and his camp, necessarily.. but it's just a continuation of the trend of folks bailing on both parties, which has been going on for a while.  Bernie and Trump support in 2016 is clear evidence of that. 
    "Content of their character" - yes, except conservatives tend to pull that out when it works against people of colour, not when it works for them. 

    Which of the conservatives on this forum objected a few days ago when unsung suggested that black, female lawyers and judges couldn't do their jobs properly? Right - none. The only posters who objected were the left-leaning ones.

    Definately fed that during the campaign and I’m waiting to see the direct link between Russia and the campaign itself where they gave trump and co. guidance on message and location of rallies, etc.
