  • LA II was my second PJ show (ever).

I wasn't even supposed to go night two, but the friend who was supposed to go with my fiance had to cancel. When he called me at work to see if I wanted to go. I was torn because I was still SO TIRED from night one. But I had been kind of bummed that I had only gone to one show after LA I was SO rockin'. So I said "Screw Sleep!" And agreed to go.

Before we went in to our seats, we saw some of the people we had met the night before. It got me even more pumped to be around hardcore fans. Plus everyone was so nice.

Night 2, my fiance had Ten Club tickets. They were perfect seats. On the side, down low. I could see the stage so well, probably better then some people on the floor.

I didn't know as many songs but I still danced and jumped around even though I couldn't sing along as often. I loved "Garden" and "Big Wave" seemed so much better the second night. And I was so happy to hear "Daughter" though I had been hoping for The Wall tag, it was still awesome.

I had totally forgotten about the song "Man of the Hour" until they played it during the encore. Another song that nearly brought me to tears.

And the ending with "Rocking in the Free World" was SO awesome. The lights came up in The Forum and you could see that everyone was totally into the song.

Though I loved the set list from night one because it had so many songs that reminded me of my younger years. Night two was awesome on other levels, more jamming out by the band, more energy around me (Ten Club knows how to rock!).

I can't say I liked one night more then the other, they were both great for their own reasons. Now of course, I wish I could go to more shows, but sadly my work schedule does not allow. I will just have to listen to the bootlegs and dream. This might be how hardcore fans are born. ;)

Have fun everyone who goes on to the California shows, my fiance will be out there with you grooving out!

    Great show.

Thanks to the A-holes who I saw with 3-4 posters. One of them sat next to me had three and I asked if I could buy one from her and she said "absolutely not." It's the only show I didn't get a poster to all tour for me, so I guess I can't complain.
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

That poster thing is out of hand. I prefer the $5 ones...I don't collect or sell 'em.

It really is, but what do you expect when there are limited quantities available? I told my friend to slap me if I kept mentioning the poster so I'd shut up about not getting one. :D

I have a question to someone who has at both forum shows.... I was only at night 2. Which was the better show because I know night 2 kicked ass but ofcourse I'm biased.

There really was no better show of the two. Both nights had there great moments. Both nights had pre-show performances by Eddie. Both nights ruled!! On night one the highlight for me was Crown of Thorns. And on night two we got Footsteps. I just cannot pick just one. *shrugs* I will say that these two nights in particular, were the best two performances I have seen by them.

I must agree that both ruled. I nearly said night 1, but yeah. It's really hard to choose.

I just have 2 say since Las Vegas the sets have been wild!! They have picked up ten fold. The Gorge is going to lift the stakes once again.

I have to agree with everyone else who answered this, both nights rocked for different reasons.

Night 1: A lot of "Greatest Hits" the band really seemed to have energy, Eddie made lots of funny comments. It was my first PJ show ever so it was exciting from that stand point personally. Jeremy! Baba O'Reily!

Night 2: More rarities, more jamming out (I recall one song they jammed out for so long when they finally went back to the actual song I felt like "Oh yea, that is what they were playing.) Garden! Rockin' In The Free World!

Its like trying to compare apples to oranges.

Great analogy! I'm tired of people saying that the first night was for the "casual" fan. I adored both!

Anyone out there with an extra night 2 LA poster who wants to trade for a Santa Barbara poster? I got stuck in traffic and missed my chance in LA so I picked up an extra SB hoping for a trade. Email me at: 2chamun@gmail.com.
Great shows, all of them! And all 3 SF rocked, what a ride.

i went to san diego and both la performances, i thought they were truly amazing, they have never sounded better if that is possible, THE ED put his heart and soul into each and every performance he is simply amazing, i am still speechless two weeks later they rocked hard, and well i had a thank-you sign because ED is so humble and giving and kept saying thank-you, he nodded stood up, pointed at me and said you r welcome, then stone jumped off the stage came over and gave me a tambourine, i could die right now and be happy, those of you that have only negative things to say r u really pj fans because if you r you would get it, he was amazing they were amazing , he believes in what he believes and is well read and has done his homework he is unwavering and brave, he does not make choices lightly he is dedicated and honest and pure, so you do not have to agree with what he believes but you do have to respect him. he deserves no less giving us all and expecting nothing in return , he is a true genius and i for one feel really lucky to have him around , he is THE MAN, and just my opinion better than ever.c
