Idiots that "climb" the statue of liberty and think it will bring change when they just end up annoying people and driving them away from their cause. Note: Getting to the base of the feet of the statue of liberty isn't climbing the statue of liberty. It's crawling. If I can do it, it isn't climbing.Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

Those "folks" are the so-called "good Americans" who love the constitution until you bring up first amendment rights or the separation of church and state.Halifax2TheMax said:[1] The First Amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

There's not a "slightly contradictory viewpoint" going on here. It's a radical change of this country's established system and laws. To get there, the GOP needed to co-opt racists, religious zealots, and the anti-science idiots. If someone truly only has a "slightly contradictory viewpoint," then it's incumbent upon them to realize the above, distance themselves, call the above groups out as not sharing your values, and send these groups back to the dark corners of the internet and the ass backwards towns they came from. I'm not seeing any of that from the political right. You either have a problem with your party, that no longer represents your political and social views, or you're ok with it. If someone leaning right in their views is sick of bring called a Nazi, racists, KKK, etc.....maybe it's time to stop voting in line with them.vaggar99 said:to me its anyone who calls you a Nazi, KKK etc for offering a slightly contradictory viewpoint to the Left mindset. I'm not down with Antifa either, but it does seem like we have a few here on this board....no names. And John Lennon was a wife beater, so maybe his words are a bit hypocritical?brianlux said:tempo_n_groove said:
