    I gotta be honest.  I dislike trump a lot...and if I was invited to the White House I would go.  I wouldn't be confrontational unless spurred on by the egomaniac though.  

    Now - it's certainly not as nice as going when you actually respect the President.  I think the only other president in my lifetime that I don;t really have a lot of respect for as a person is Bill Clinton.  Still would have gone to the white house to meet him....probably would leave my daughter behind when meeting Bill, Trump, or if Biden was going to be around when meeting Obama though!

    I think it would be a pretty tough decision as a player these days because who doesn't want to go to the White House to see the history and get a private tour. Just because you go doesn't mean you are showing support for Trump. They could simply refrain from any of the pomp and circumstance that he tries to force on them. The real problem is that he's made it into some battle about patriotism. He's such an ignoramus.
    While I'm not American, I'm an avid lover of American history and admirer of some past Presidents as well ... And I'd rather spend a couple weeks in prison than visit the White House during Trump's reign. His presence completely soils the WH like a dirty diaper, so seeing the history and getting the private tour would basically make me want to throw up right now. Plus there is no way in hell that I'd allow a photo of me with Trump exist online.

    Dating back to at least Reagan, there have always been players who have skipped for political reasons and plenty who have gone despite political disagreement.  But full teams skipping is a Trump thing.  And it should not be a surprise that the sports populated by over 50% black athletes are the ones skipping.
