Dubliners, I need some help. I am coming over from Canada for the show. I have friends in the North. I noticed that there are some other great shows the same week, Snow Patrol and Radiohead. My questions are these, What is Marley Park? Are all the shows in the Park General Admission or can you get better tickets? What does Budrising mean in realtion to the Snow Patrol show, is it a festival? Are there sites I could by Radiohead tickets, most likley at a high price, because they are sold out? Any help with any of these questions would be great. thanks.

H? Irish Al? over to you... can you help?

Marley park is like a big field basically and yes, they're all general admission. it's quite a good venue - I've been to a couple of concerts there and I like it. Budrising is a kinda festival but it's not really - it's just a load of concerts in a load of different venues over a few days. Regarding buying tickets, I guess just e-bay and sites like that. Anything else?
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you

Also check http://www.ticketmaster.ie I would guess Radiohead are sold out but Snow Patrol may not be ...
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Thanks Guys, yes there are SP tickets still and the Radiohead ticket prices on ebay are not too bad. Just wanted to make sure they were all general admision. Us Canadians are not use to GA shows, it guess it will be a whole new experience. If the country as as good as the concerts they bring in it is going to be one hell of a good time.

yeah, I saw Radiohead in Seattle a couple of years ago, it was so much better than I even thought it was going to be, I will definatly spend the money. I think we get so spoiled with PJ we forget how hard some of these tickets are to get and how much they cost. Anyone seen Snow Patrol live? Is it worth the time? It is going to be hard to compete with PJ and Radiohead.

Yeh :) we get all the big acts surprisingly for such a small country! But Marley park is a really nice - big yet intimate venue.

    See you all Tuesday :)

I haven't seen Snow Patrol live but I know a couple of people who have and they both say they were very good... so would be worth a look I reckon... hope you enjoy them :D

Like I would know about sunshine - still sitting in my attic study marking and planning - feeling the heat coming from outside! Not a happy camper! :(
