First game with the new guys, caught lightning in a bottle. Cavs started the season looking good too, then what happened. Give it a couple of weeks and it'll be a dumpster fire again once the new guys realize how LeBron is as a teammate.
    This weekend we rock Portland

He could be in consideration for NBA player of the week if they take into account his efficiency as well. He's killing them

^^^^ he did have a triple double, but not enough to stop the Jazz from winning #11 in a row.

    donovan mitchell = ROY

Ben Simmons might have something to say about that (another triple double today)...Mitchell is having a superb year though and is easily the best true first year player, as Ben had a year to see what the NBA life was like

Are we only talking about scoring? If so, that’s probably true, while Ben still hasn’t developed his outside shot. Mitchell averages 3 more points than Simmons while taking 3 more shots.

If we are talking about playing a complete game of basketball, perhaps you are not paying close enough attention?

    Simmons averages more:
    Steals
    Rebounds
    Assists
    Blocks
    Higher field goal %
    Better defensive rating
    Better +/- ratio
    Higher VORP
    Higher PER

And he’s tied with Magic Johnson as the only rookies in NBA history with 6 triple doubles...and he still has 2 month’s left to play.

Scary to think how much better he will be with an outside shot added to his repertoire in a year or two..

So Cavs.  You make me think that you are out of it.

You then make a trade, are all revitalized and blowing out the competition?

I will be the first to say that I am sorry.

Sorry to Lebron, even though I can't understand your genius anymore, I'm sorry.

    See you in the finals...

Every time it looks like the Cavs are done, Lebron goes out and has one of those games where he absolutely dominates like he did the other night against OKC and reminds you he's still the best player in the league.

Haha....I think everyone was thinking the same.  I absolutely love watching those games where he just takes over.  That game against Detroit in the playoffs way back early in his career where he scored like 25 straight points to close out the game is still one of my favorite NBA things ever.  Hopefully Cleveland figures it out and can give GS a good series in the Finals.

If GS doesn't figure it out there are the Rockets and OKC to deal with.  Don't forget that.  Oh and the ever so quiet Spurs too.

Ben and the Sixers are 2-0 against Don and the Jazz this year too. And I'm pretty sure Ben had double doubles both those games

Can't see OKC doing it, but the Rockets have a chance.  Either way, really hoping we get a Rockets-Warriors series this year...that will be wild.

That just confirms that Simmons should be ROY if Steven A is backing Mitchell.
