Tried to get you last week - Ill ring you this arvo re accom and flights
Why? The story doesn't revolve around his death, it revolves around his life
But it has a sad ending, doesn't it
I always prefer a happy ending..

Subject: We have been cancelled at the Wallaby on the 15th Feb '08
Body: Apparently we are too mellow and not top 40 enough. So the Wallaby aren't having us back unfortunately, also the feedback they gave us is that the guys should get a chick singer lol. Oh well, i better start taking the hormone replacement therapy.
I can understand them not digging the fact we are like every other two bit fucking cover band around and play the same predictable top 40 shit, but to say we are too mellow is damn rediculous.
We are dissapointed, but its their loss i guess.
cheers
Andy"

I'm in work 12-9 :(
Just send me a PM or an SMS, or if you want, you can ring me after I finish work.
Hey, I bet it's quiet at work today. Was wondering whether any people with non-retail jobs were actually going in today.. I bet it's mental outside though with all the last minute Christmas shoppers..
Went to a barbie last night and it was freezing. The sun is supposed to come back on Wednesday..
City is pretty quiet actually - mind you I havent (and wont) venture into Pitt St Mall. I had to walk about 2 blocks to find a coffee this morning its that much of a ghosttown.
Ocean is disgustingly cold - I went out in a steamer yesterday which should be illegal for this time of the year.
Just downloaded Santa God and am listening to it now.

Yeah....I went to Mandurah to do the last of my shopping yesterday and I cooked!!! Had the air con blasting in the car and still cooked :( I was as red as Santa's pants by the time I got home. Glenn and the kids thought I was really badly sunburnt
A nice cold bourbon on ice soon helped though
As soon as I played 'Santa God', Maddi came running in and said "is that Eddie, Mum?" bless her little cotton socks
What a good, intelligent little girl she is.
Bless her little Santa stocking.

It's horrible when it gets that hot. I still remember my days of living in Perth.
Long hot endless summer days at Scarborough beach.

Brendan......what did you end up getting for you Mum?
She received Shitseido lip liner and mascara. The old man got red wine glasses (big fishbowl ones) and a damn expensive wine cooler. The bro and I bought each other a beer (and wrapped it) - he got a Little Creatures and the Jew bought me a Carlton
We got woken by the phone ringing this morning and Glenn ran out to answer it, but missed it. It was my Mum and she left a message.
In the message she talked about one of the presents I've got Glenn for Chrissy - "Kylie, you know that dart board in the cabinet you've got Glenn for Christmas...blah...blah...blah"
and Glenn got the message :(
he just came in and handed me the phone, saying it was your Mum and she left a message for you....he looked so disappointed that she'd ruined his surprise.

Me and a mate had a trifecta yesterday with number 8 as a standout for first ($23). It got beat in the closest photo Ive ever seen and the tri paid $800 - with our winner we prdict it would have been at least $2500 probably 3-4 and we had it for 83%. $2000 would have meant a rather large NYE!
