    Yep.. that's one thing about the cooler weather.. am not going to swelter in the kitchen while the turkey is roasting and there shouldn't be any bush fires.

    Yeah....I went to Mandurah to do the last of my shopping yesterday and I cooked!!! Had the air con blasting in the car and still cooked :( I was as red as Santa's pants by the time I got home. Glenn and the kids thought I was really badly sunburnt :eek:
    A nice cold bourbon on ice soon helped though ;)

    It's horrible when it gets that hot. I still remember my days of living in Perth.

    Get this......how STUPID is my Mum?! :mad:

    We got woken by the phone ringing this morning and Glenn ran out to answer it, but missed it. It was my Mum and she left a message.
    In the message she talked about one of the presents I've got Glenn for Chrissy - "Kylie, you know that dart board in the cabinet you've got Glenn for Christmas...blah...blah...blah"

    and Glenn got the message :(

    he just came in and handed me the phone, saying it was your Mum and she left a message for you....he looked so disappointed that she'd ruined his surprise.

    Hey DonJon Ive been wondering where u have been..Last I heard u were looking for a pressie for the old doris and something about fisting..LOL.......was thinking u may have got abducted or something....

    I wish I had a good christmas carol cd, the kids banned me years ago playing my Neil Diamond christmas tape...

    What does everyone else do for Christmas Carols....any suggestions,,:)

    Don't have to worry about cooking until tomorrow, so have been taking it easy, vegging out on the couch with Nicky and watching a movie on Foxtel called The Holiday...

    Have got this Christmas CD called Little Drummer Boy that I've been playing for years with some type of choir singing Christmas Carols .. it's not too bad.
