Ten Club tix for Seattle are $259 for a pair......$129.50 each ticket. In 2016, I paid $188 for pairs at Fenway and MSG........$94 each ticket.
That's a $35.50 increase in 2 years, or over 37%. Wow!
I understand its not 1994 anymore, but I guess its also not 2016.
blame venue, ticketmaster, service etc for the rest.
How can you tell what the face is for Ten Club tickets? All I see is $259 for the pair.Regardless, its a 37% increase from Ten Club ticket prices from 2016. I know for sure that my income hasn't increased by that much in the past two years.

We can debate whether $125 per ticket is worth it. We all know what their shows are like, how long they play, how much each changes. You wouldn't have a hard job convincing me that it is worth that price. Still, it's the increase from just two years ago that has me scratching my head today. I knew these shows were going to be more expensive. I just didn't think they were going to 30% more expensive.

since we're talking stadiums, i'm a little surprised that there aren't price tiers. the difference between an "eh" reserved seat and GA is pretty big..i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam0

It seems like alot based on past tours but it's not horrible. I'm happy to pay it. I just paid about the same price for Foo Fighter tickets thru ticketmaster after all there service fees/processing fees/ect. The nice thing here is we are not paying the Service fees and whatever else TM charges.MLPS: 6-30-98 ; East Troy: 10-8-00 ; St. Paul: 6-16-03 ; East Troy: 6-21-03 ; Camden: 7-5-03 ; Grand Rapids: 10-3-04 ; Thunder Bay: 9-9-05 ; East Rutherford: 6-1-06; East Rutherford: 6-3-06 ; St. Paul: 6-26-06 ; St. Paul: 6-27-06, Chicago 8/23/09, Chicago 8/24/09, EV MLPS 7-2-11, PJ20 Alpine Valley 9-3-11, PJ20 Alpine Valley 9-4-11; Wrigley 7-19-13, St Paul 10-19-14; Wrigley 8-22-16; Seattle 8-8-18, Seattle 8-10-18; EV NY 2-4-220

in 1994, they played shithole venues most of the time, and antiquated stadiums. Im sure some of the cost of doing business with major ballparks comes into play here.Turn this anger into

Don't compare it to 1994 prices, but do compare it to Wrigley 2013 and Wrigley 2016. Almost a 30% increase compared to just two years ago. That can't all be operating expenses. Can't remember what Wrigley 2013 cost but I think it was around $70 a ticket. 2016 was $94. This one is $122. They are definitely keeping out the "casual fans" at that price... something they used to be against.
There is no way in hell 30% of that $122 is going to charity.

Definitely the venues are a factor. Fenway is charging anywhere between $25-$45 per ticket in fees. That's just what I've seen for other shows this summer, too. There could be higher fees out there.

So the ticket prices listed are on par with these other major acts touring this year.

i think a lot of bands now include free copies of their albums with their tickets. Well, when touring for an album, anyway. DMB does this, U2 did this.Turn this anger into
