     That's a nice lineup right there!  I didn't know they distributed Half Acre to Philly....such a great brewery.  I used to live right by it and go there all the time before I became a suburbanite.  Daisy Cutter is one of my all time favorites.  Love Jai Alai too....always drink some of that whenever I'm down in Florida.  I just read that they're coming to Chicago soon which is awesome news.
    So what are your suggestions for breweries I need to hit up while in Chicago? Maybe a top five. 
    I'd say Revolution, Half Acre, On Tour Brewing, Lagunitas and Great Central Brewing.  Great Central is a contract brewing place that brews beer for a few different breweries....they have a pretty nice taproom where you can have a bunch of the beers that they brew there.  
    revolution and half acre are on the must see list!

    You could probably hit Half Acre the day of one of the PJ shows.  It's not too far from Wrigley...only a mile or 2 west of there.

    Agreed- they deserve that 100. I was one of Jen lucky few who was able to buy a pack containing GBS and all its variants. I’ll try to post a pic this weekend.

    I tried a gingerbread stout and thought it was awful.  Id be willing to try this though.

    anybody else here homebrew?  I just started a few months ago and I'm obsessed.  I have to stick with 1 gallon batches for now (I have two fermenting jugs) since I live in a NYC apartment but I already know I'll make 5+ gallon batches one day.

    That's what I was kinda hoping this thread would turn into, or at least there should be a homebrew thread. I've done it a few times this year, and definitely want to do it more often. And same here - I've been restricted to gallon batches and I want to step it up to all grain brewing in 5+ gallon batches. My only issue  I've been terrible with making my priming sugar and almost half of my batches had too much carbonation, which has sucked, and I probably should get my shit together on that before stepping it up.

    Not gonna lie I've taken the easy way out with carbonation by using these:  https://www.amazon.com/Coopers-Home-Brewing-Carbonation-Drops/dp/B003E5ZYB8

    One drop per 12oz bottle is perfect.  I'd rather spend little extra to save time and frustration.  I love brew day but hate bottling day.
