That was probably just a common foul back then. Nowadays, there would have been multiple ejections and fines

That's the NBA I loved lol. Oakley was a straight up thug. Only dudes with the greatest of testicular fortitude would dare challenge him.

Yeah Oakley was a beast, as was the X Man, Xavier McDaniel and also Anthony Mason. Lambier was an outright Thug, but that was almost accepted back then. Rodman, when he was at the Pistons,  pushed Pippen into the stands after an attempted lay up that Pip held a grudge over for years until D Rod came to the Bulls.

The Heat/Knicks rivalry in the 90's was excellent too

I remember Alonzo Mourning screaming at Rodman on TV "You're a sick fuck, you're a sick fuck, you know that?!?"  I always wondered if he was shoving a finger in his but or just talking mad trash?

FYI Rodman used to do some weird stuff to players, lol.

Blake Griffin traded to the Pistons

Big gamble by the Pistons, huge amount of money left on his contract and he regularly misses games with injury. I think they had to roll the dice though as they are not a team that will attract free agents. Front court of Drummond/Griffin/Stanley should be very solid and Kennard should get a shot at the SG spot for the rest of the season.

  • Westbrook got posterized by Embiid.
Wesrbrook stared him down when dribbling out the clock in a win over the sixers.

That was one hard ass stare.

...and then ran to his bench as Embiid walked to mid court to shake hands.....lol

He has developed a 3pointer now.

But he does get hurt a lot.

I agree, but he is a good player, just not a franchise player that he is made out to be
