Also saw on one of the websites it says to organise your transport through your accom provider?!?!?!?!

Also why do they put tofu in a laksa?
Just checked the transfers link that came with the accom; e-mail and I think we'll forget about that

Yeah, I'll keep a lookout for flights up. Credit card bill will probably be here in about 2 weeks. I think so far we're up to $335 each

Exxxxcceeelllent. So accom was only 280 each for 3 nights - good stuff.
Righto I might transfer you 2-300 next week and the remainder the following.

Damn if we can get a flight under 80 on the way up this is gonna be one cheap arsed weeked. Besides the 300 Ill probably spend on piss and 150 on food.

No need to thank me mate. You gave me the idea when we had that drink the other month. You were the inspiration :)

Cool! Just read this on the Grosvenor site....at least we'll have some sanctuary ;):

    School Leavers 2007 FAQ's
Q: Do you accept School Leaver Bookings

A: Unfortunately we do not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual Schoolies Festival. In particular we do not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of our guests during this period. For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leavers for the period 18 November 2007 to 17 December 2007

If you still choose to book accommodation through us and it turns out that you are School Leavers, we will automatically cancel your booking and the cancellation fees are up to the descretion of management.

Wow hows that. I bet there are still some twats that book anyway and suffer the consequences. Good policy but wonder how they sussed out your age?

They'll probably be calling us schoolies by the end of the weekend. Just a matter of respecting other peoples space - it aint that hard.

It's just a matter of keeping noise levels to a minimum when we get home at night, and not having 20 people crash out in the apartment.
I had to reply to the email confirming that we WEREN'T there for schoolies

    Oh man thats rotten.

Never dont say anything because you dont know what to say. Let her know that you are thinking of her and will always be there if she needs anything for starters.

    Sorry Megan

    That's fucked up :(
    Cancer's a shit disease.
I think that a phone call is the only way to go. Just tell her that you're thinking about her, and if she needs to talk to someone, that you'll be there for her.
You could also send her some flowers
