    Picking vacation next Saturday at work by the looks of it. I am almost a lock ( as long as the people picking before me stick to their word) in getting July 1st week off for Europe which is great but I really would love to know some more dates since I have an outside chance of getting a second summer week off. The first week in September is always a popular week for picks and would hate using a favour to get it with out knowing more of the ballpark tour schedule. I think I am just going to have to wing it and hope to get a decent August date as well and use it for trade if it does not hit a show.

    best thing ive read since the philly rumors popped up. 

    i have so little interest in a non descript, new, stadium for my pj.. ill take whatever i can obv, but stadiums are a novelty not a norm.  if its not wrigley or fenway, and even those are wearing thin, there is very little appeal for the hardcore fans.  when pj plays to 45k people, they need to keep them engaged with the hits.. 
    I hear you about stadium shows, but considering how demand continues to grow.........it may become the norm for efficiency. They are way too big to play the small intimate fan shows we all dream of.

    The picture of Ed above is prior to the Pilgrimage Festival last September.  I do not think it is anything more than his upcoming few shows in Brazil.

    Does EV even practice / warm up. I remember after the first few songs of their OZ tour opener in Brisbane 2003, EV said ‘welcome to our practice’. There was a fair few screw ups in that show! From EV in particular.

    I agree. I was so pumped thinking we were getting a full arena tour this year after nothing last year. I’ll be prettty bummed if the US is only getting the same stadium shows again. Maybe something will still come to fruition for the end of the year.

    I almost wonder if the reason that fall seems like a question mark is because the fall arena tour is dependent on how well the Cub’s season goes.
