18 shows already on the books. If they do 6-8 ballpark shows, outside of a one off or two (Missoula or festivals), that’s probably it. Unless you think we’re getting 35-40 shows this year.0

It must suck to live in Chicago knowing you're never getting a proper arena show ever again lol0

I'd argue that no place in the world has had it better than Chicago for PJ fans. The only down side is that everyone wants to come here. Those of us fortunate enough to travel get to see arena shows elsewhere, but since 2009, we've had it damn good.

If Boston is Friday/Sunday then Philly would have to be Thursday/Saturday I would guess since unless the field crew are ok with a game the day after a concert which would allow Friday/Sunday then.
Sounds good to me
Not to mention I thought it was wierd to have a seperate West Coast tour without Seattle (As they'd already have played Seattle). You could do a West Coast tour without Seattle, but its not something they do often. Seattle is the biggest city in the NorthWest... plus when you skip it then you've got california, portland, vancouver, alberta. Lots of big empty gaps in between. That's my thoughts anyways....

I wouldn't call this a rumor, but more like speculation with knowledge. I discuss PJ with a media type source and a month or two ago they had no knowledge of any PJ show. I asked just recently about Citizens Bank Park, and they said they don't think so, suggested Wells Fargo instead and said there would be news "very soon". This person always plays very coy, but I take their thoughts and hints with some weight.9/1/00, 4/28/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 7/12/03, 10/1/04, 9/28/05, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 6/1/06, 6/27/08, 6/30/08, 8/7/08 (EV), 6/12/09 (EV), 10/27/09, 10/28/09,10/30/09, 10/31/09, 5/21/10, 6/15/11 (EV), 9/2/12, 7/19/13, 10/21/13, 10/22/13, 10/27/13, 4/28/16, 4/29/16, 8/7/16, 11/4/16 (TOTD), 8/18/18, 8/20/18, 9/24/21 (EV&Earthlings), 9/26/21, 9/11/2022, 9/14/2022, 9/7/2024, 9/9/2024, 9/12/2024, 5/16/2025, 5/18/20250

i have so little interest in a non descript, new, stadium for my pj.. ill take whatever i can obv, but stadiums are a novelty not a norm. if its not wrigley or fenway, and even those are wearing thin, there is very little appeal for the hardcore fans. when pj plays to 45k people, they need to keep them engaged with the hits..'98: Camden 1 '00: JB2 '03: MSG1 '04: Boston 1 '05: AC1

I think we all got excited about a big tour this year with all of the talk of three continents. But I think reality is setting in with a "bigger" leg in Europe, and then three shows in SA and a few ballpark shows in the US. Nothing different than any other post 2006 year other than 2017 with no shows.
2013 was pretty big though for PJ, so perhaps a new album in 2019 will usher in a "full" US tour.
