Not really worried about funding. There would be no government schools.gimmesometruth27 said:

Cool chart. Can you add “Do you have any money left for it?” and appropriate streams above “People would pay for it voluntarily”?unsung said:
 I’m guessing one of those streams would ask “Are you a worthy contributing member of society?” directly above the “Should’ve worked harder; go die and help population control”.'05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

But Brian anyone with half a brain knows public schools are government funded indoctrination centers whose only goal is to brainwash the children to accept people of different races, creeds, nationalities, religions, and sexual orientations.brianlux said:

All correct, BP only it's "galldang pinkos!" (often punctuated with "damn it!").Bentleyspop said:

Define "worship", please.unsung said:Just wondering when your day of worship is...
Edit: oh, I see, because I said "galldang it" and "damn it". Meant no offense to anyone but I don't consider such phrases sacrilege on any particular day. If it's "wrong" to say something, it's either always wrong or never wrong.

I would agree that there seems to be a general lack of personal responsibility.Halifax2TheMax said:
Whatever happened to personal responsibility? You need speed bumps to avoid the speed cameras? Incapable of driving the speed limit? It’s all big governments fault.unsung said:
Chicago was caught shortening the yellow light timing after red light cameras were installed, and after they installed the speed cameras they removed a bunch of speed bumps.CM189191 said:
Not in MN. Speed cameras either. Hell, they don't even monitor the toll lanes. Another reason I love this state.unsung said:Red light cameras...oh a whole 'nother topic.
But removing speed bumps to put in a camera seems to confirm the suspicion they aren't s they for safety, but for revenue. many cities and even a few states have banned the use of red light cameras because of the number of lawful drivers who were getting tickets. And it sucks when you have to take 2 days off of work to fight a ticket in many cases. Most prefer to just pay $100 fine that to take off work, and that's just wrong when many never deserved the ticket to begin with.

All it means is the city is attempting to condition a population that doesn’t require a costly bump installation for every time they want drivers to behave. They have rights to all the revenue they make for that, given the population could have chosen to simply behave better and not require the city to have had them in the first place. They do owe the people a fully accurate speed test though; anything else should require a manual human review before inconveniencing a citizen.mace1229 said:
