I thought it was fantastic. The scene where the ship goes through the other ship at light speed was one of the best scenes of a movie ever.looking to hear of the earth0

Idiots in the cinema thought that silence after it went through before the explosion thought the silence was a cue for them to talk, spoiled that moment.I thought it was fantastic. I was confused by that scene where Rey stepped into that cave and saw many reflections of herself in a long line.
What was that all about?Adelaide 17/11/2009, Melbourne 20/11/2009, Sydney 22/11/2009, Melbourne (Big Day Out Festival) 24/01/20140 -

Starkiller base, very big, very large mass.

It would have been a good way to kill of Leia. Let her beautifully float off dead in space with Leia's theme music playing.Wobbie said:Dr. Delight said:

Or they fetch her and she dies on board the ship.Adelaide 17/11/2009, Melbourne 20/11/2009, Sydney 22/11/2009, Melbourne (Big Day Out Festival) 24/01/20140 -
even from his initial introduction in The Force Awakens I was never a fan of Finn. I really dislike his character even more after this one. I felt they wasted a lot of time on his character, and in my opinion he (Finn) is just worthless in these movies. No background on Snoke? What about Knights of Ren? Nothing? The casino scene was horrible in my opinion. Floating Leia was flat out comical. I did like the Kylo/Rey scene when they kicked ass together0

The whole cinema erupted in cheer during that scene. Little did we all know Ren didn't turn back to the light.PRL1JAM said:I did like the Kylo/Rey scene when they kicked ass togetherAdelaide 17/11/2009, Melbourne 20/11/2009, Sydney 22/11/2009, Melbourne (Big Day Out Festival) 24/01/20140 -

Maybe the ship didn't have enough fuel to get to full light speed so that's why tore through the other ship. It's also a suicide mission.elvistheking44 said:

Yeah, that's definitely a major continuity flaw, but it was a theatrical success, great scene.elvistheking44 said:

Even a ship the size of a Subaru would generate enough force to obliterate a Death Star if it was traveling near the speed of light. A meteor or comet the size of a Star Destroyer has enough force to wreck the surface of an Earth sized planet travelling at fractions of C.Thoughts_Arrive said:

But Star Wars has always played very loose with the laws of physics, that's for sure.
The worst instance is in TFA, when they suck the flames of a star across the interplanetary vacuum into the core of the Starkiller Base. That's a hell of a whopper there.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
Yeah, it’s no Star Trek. More fiction, less science.rgambs said:But Star Wars has always played very loose with the laws of physics, that's for sure.

Space fantasy. Wizards and laser swords. It's why so many of us fell in love with it as kids.dankind said:
