Hi everyone,

Hopefully I’m in the right forum for this. I have an opportunity to buy a Danny Clinch 2003 poster signed by the band. I wanted to know if there are any experts here who could give me their opinion on the authenticity. Here are the pics:

Hard to tell from my phone but they look legit except maybe Matt's. I need to be home to compare it to others etc. Hopefully someone else can get a better view of the Matt and get you an opinion

Yeah that’s the one that’s bugging me a bit but from others I’ve seen that I know are real it is comparable. This one maybe not as neat.

I have a poster signed by the band. Here's how their signatures look on mine. Matt's is the bottom one:

I passed on quite a few signed things because i just couldnt be sure.  Half or more were probably legit.  I would just never know.  Unless its from 10c or another band sponsored site i pass

The poster was purchased from an autograph collector and authenticated by Beckett recently. Matt’s signature is messy and assuming it’s real was probably signed on the fly. Matt does sometimes have a messy signature. Here’s a couple from posters donated by Pearl Jam and sold on
    Charitybuzz.

I’m the furthest from an expert, but he did get Beckett to authenticate it so it’s hard to argue with the guy. I read a member here bought a guitar donated to charitybuzz and had to return it after finding out it’s fake, and they’re a reputable organization. He got his money back but I guess you never know unless it’s done in front of your eyes. I love this poster though.

Thanks. I think so too. I agree Matt’s is a little messy and could be questionable but I looked at all the posters that were donated to charity and he’s pretty inconsistent. This one was definitely rushed though. I think the other signatures on this poster are great with respect to clarity and placement. It’s coming from a reputable source in the Seattle area and the gentleman drove 45 mins each way to get it authenticated by Beckett as they were in the Seattle area last week. They passed it. That alone shows he’s pretty sure of what he has. I wanted to wait for one that was donated but some of those prices can get a little high. Plus I really don’t want a random concert poster when I didn’t attend that show.

Thanks, good to hear. Thanks to everyone who responsed. I wanted as many opinions as I could get. Came to the realization that I’ll never meet them in person so something like this would be the closest thing to having them in my living room =)
