    Better Watch Out(2017)
    Christmas Horror/Black Comedy
Was ok. The plot twist wasnt really that unforeseeable.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

Yup. They laughed a lot at the scatological humor. Just like their mother.

    Jackie Brown

This was the only Tarentino movie I had yet to see.  It was good, not my favorite though.  I would probably put it somewhere in the middle of his films I think.

I tried to watch it, but was actually surprised to find that I found the whale hunting scenes too disturbing. I know it's pretend of course, but I dunno... I just found that the fact they were presenting whale hunting in any way other than "this is HORRIFIC" upsetting enough for me to turn it off when they hit the first scene of that, so I actually haven't seen more than maybe half an hour of this film. I obviously have a serious soft spot about it. Which is weird, because I watch horrific, gory, disturbing movies all the time. It's just this one thing that I find too hard to watch in movies.

Yeah I know, as I was watching it I was wondering to myself if there are now any people who hunt whale legitimately for survival. I very much doubt it, perhaps nobody ever hunted them for that reason. Even my love for Cillian Murphy didn't stop me rooting for the whale!

Well the Inuit still hunt whales legitimately, supposedly using traditional methods (although a lot of them cheat in that regard and use modern methods). Of course most groups "support" this because of the politically correct aspect of aboriginal rights. Even Greenpeace gave up that argument ... I, however, have not. I think killing any whales is obscene this day and age - I don't care if it's a traditional practice or a legal right under First Nation agreements at all. They may as well be hunting humans as far as I'm concerned.
