What an iconic character Spock was/is. I'm always kind of startled when I see Leonard Nimoy in another role.
    RIP Mr. Spock. :disappointed:

^^^ That and I think I watched every episode of In Search Of growing up. Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster, UFOs, voodoo, Easter Island. Fascinating. RIP Mr. Nimoy

    Oh man. :frowning:

What a fascinating man, one of the best Sci Fi characters ever, a fine actor, poet and writer, and good soul.

    R.I.P. Mr. Nimoy.

New movie out this summer. Apparently even Simon Peg was shocked by the trailer(he co-wrote the movie):

they asked him about his reaction to the Star Trek trailer. Peg looked a little flustered before responding, “It was very action packed, I didn’t…uh…yeah…it was surprising. I find it to be the marketing people saying, ‘everybody come and see this film, it’s full of action and fun,’ when there’s a lot more to it than that. I didn’t love it, because I know there’s a lot more to the film.”

Although it will be interesting to see the crew of the enterprise drop a 134 N-bombs throughout the film
