    This could be the Covid talking, but so far, Strange New Worlds is great.

    I'm a gigantic Next Generation fan (like 1000% nerd-level), but I've never been able to connect with any other Star Trek series before Strange New Worlds, which is pretty entertaining. I also like the newest movies with Chris Pine a lot, but as far as the TV shows go, before SNW, I feel like they are all basically terrible when compared to TNG. I am attempting to enjoy Deep Space Nine right now, and the only things I like about ot are directly connected to TNG, like Niles O'Brian, Vash, Q, Picard, etc. The Commander on DS9 is a horrible actor. Not to mention the fact that they recycled some actors from TNG as totally different characters. That's really lame (although I guess I'm glad the actors got the jobs).
    I have no real point.... I'm just sad I can't enjoy any of the shows after the perfection of TNG. :(
